I am a South African based knife maker and blade smith and I have been making knives since 2009.

Having been born in Africa I have been hunting for 35 years and I have developed through experience a very good understanding of what is required in a hunting knife and what it is used for. I have also been collecting knives since I was a small boy.

 

I spesialise in fixed blade knives in both Stainless and Carbon steel that is suited for work in the field as well as in the camp, and my knives are in daily use by Professional Hunters, Sport Hunters and farmworkers.

 

I make knives by either forging or stock removal process and I believe as I knife maker one should be proficient in both these methods. I mostly use a full flat grind on my blades. I believe that this is the most suited grind for a knife that potentially would be used on animals in the veld, bush craft and back in the camp. It is a strong robust geometry that takes an exceptional edge without being overly heavy.

 

I can assure you that every part of the knife making and sheath making process was done in-house by myself, with the exception of engraving and scrimshaw should your knife be embellished with such.

 

I take great pride in my work and I only sell knives that I would be prepared to use and pay for myself.
